The following things
will carry over to Persistent when this update has been deployed there:
- Any unspent peerless vouchers
- Credit balance + value of item + equipment inventory exceeding 1 million
- Primary stat bonuses and a global damage bonus depending on the number of tower floors cleared
Isekai Changes- The experience bonus on Isekai is now tied to your progress in The Tower. Instead of a fixed 500% bonus, it now starts out without a bonus, and every floor you clear increases the bonus by 20%.
- The number of rounds in the Tower has been rescaled and now caps at 100 for Floor 40. Past Floor 40, the difficulty boost (monster health/damage) is now scaled up by 5% per floor.
- You can now only clear the Tower once per day normally, and twice during Last Spurt. (If you start a Tower battle before midnight UTC and end it after, it will count as yesterday's clear.)
- Corrected the Tower Mode to have the regular (same as arenas) credit drop multiplier instead of the decreased Item World/Grindfest one.
- The end-of-season permanent stat bonuses are now officially fixed to floor level rather than being competitive. The Top 10 peerless voucher and per-floor damage bonus remain unchanged.
-- Clear Floor 50: +3 to all primary stats
-- Clear Floor 40: +2 to all primary stats
-- Clear Floor 30: +1 to all primary stats
- The double stamina regeneration was removed from the "Early Bird" bonus period (the 8-9 days between the solstice/start of season and the end of the month). Instead, the bonus equipment droprate during this period was changed from 2x to 5x.
- Stamina drain on Isekai was increased to 0.04 per round with "Normal" stamina and 0.06 per round with "Great" stamina.
- The base monster droprate on Isekai was doubled.
- Removed the crystals tab on the Isekai item shop
- Equipment keys are now unique to Isekai and to each Isekai season
Arenas- Added two new arenas:
-- Level 400 locked to PFUDUR +50% with a 2x T7 equipment clear bonus
-- Level 500 locked to PFUDOR +100% with a 3x T7 equipment clear bonus and a new title
- Arena round counts were rescaled and now cap at 100. This includes a tweak to the arena monster scaling where you effectively skip the first 25% of arena rounds compared to the old scaling.
- A Dance With Dragons now forces PFUDOR difficulty, and the granted Dovahkiin title now has the same bonuses as Godslayer in addition to the skill. (You don't have to reobtain the skill.)
- Low-level arenas now become unavailable as you level up, mostly to prevent needing to show multiple pages of irrelevant challenges and making people feel the need to clear them every day. At level 500, Endgame (level 100) and up will still be available.
Misc- When crystal or chaos upgrading monsters in the monster lab, you can now do +5 levels by holding shift and +10 levels by holding control. If you do not have sufficient crystals/tokens for all level upgrades, it will abort it. If there are fewer than 5/10 levels until the cap, it will increase it to the cap.
- If your equipment inventory is full, equipment drops will now be generated and auto-sold instead of being discarded or replaced with an item drop, unless it qualified for auto-salvage in which case that will happen instead.
- Stamina is now considered "Great" above 60, and increases stamina drain by 50% rather than 100%.
- Stamina is now considered "Exhausted" if it drops below 1 (used to be 10). You cannot start a new battle if your stamina is below 2.
- Switched HV to use a new refactored core library. This is the first part of the site to use this, so let me know if you encounter any new weirdness.
Post-Update Fixes- The exp modifier was wrong (started at 0.2 instead of 1.0) and has been corrected.
- Due to an issue with the import script, only the actual credit balance was used to initialize the starting credits for Isekai. This will be fixed for the next season to include the inventory sell value; for this season, that will be added to Persistent instead.
- Corrected a glitchy reset/readout of the "daily clears" tower counter. (It would still let you start a new one, so this wouldn't have had any real effect before Last Spurt.)
- Made some changes to stamina consumption.
- Corrected an issue where arenas going unavailable would mess with the requirement logic for the next arena.
- Tweaked the arena monster scaling to effectively skip the first 25% of arena rounds
- The "difficulty boost" health multiplier is no longer applied to boss-type monsters that already have a separate health multiplier. They still receive the damage multiplier. This includes the Level 400 and 500 arena bosses, as well as the "schoolgirls".
- You can no longer start an item world if doing so would bring you below 1 stamina. (This would prevent you from getting anything.)
Particularly with regards to the new core library, there could be various issues with this update, so please post here if anything seems broken.
(Again, note that stuff hasn't been added to Persistent yet.)
