QUOTE(God Revan @ Sep 25 2016, 10:12) Could someone tell me how I can rotate a "Heart" Symbol? Also how can I make the "Heart" symbol come out in the same text font as what I'm writing?
The way I rotate text is I select the text, hold Ctrl, then hold click the mouse outside the text on the bottom right. You then drag the mouse and that will rotate the text. Naturally, that will also work on the Heart symbol if it's part of the text. If you want to rotate it individually, you can simply make it part of a different text layer. To type a heart symbol you need to turn on Num Lock and use the Alt+3 Alt code. This is all assuming you use Photoshop.

Actually the way I found out is that you make the shape and confirm it. Then use the Move Tool and click the "Show Transform Controls" at the top. Do whatever I want with it, un-check the option, position it and done. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) As for the Alt + 3 thing, I didn't know. Thank you. Edit: Found out how to rotate the shape. Still looking for how to change the shape into the desired font.
It's only dependent if the font itself includes such symbols. Like for instance Wild Words doesn't have fancy symbols, while Anjelika Rose has flower shaped icons.

Hey it works in the right place QUOTE(God Revan @ Sep 26 2016, 10:10) Curious, where in the forums could I post my edited work to have it critiqued?
Generally the Cove of Scanslation or the public gallery, you'll notice that most people don't care how the typeset was done as long you go with the golden standard and did a decent cleaning. The variety of typesetting is more of an editor's artistic expression

Any thread in specific or just make a new one and posted it there?

The right place being parody edits where you typeset the dialog with comic sans and the moans with mouth breather? Ok, it MIGHT be ok with you go through and manually capitalize, use lower case, and shift letters up and down to maintain a consistent center point, but that's way too much effort for a font that doesn't look that good anyway.

Im looking at this doujin I wish to edit and clean but I'm not sure how to fix up this blur in the middle of every page. Here's an example. http://ehentaihip.com/s/3c67a0af04/8083-5

Here's an example. http://ehentaihip.com/s/3c67a0af04/8083-5[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/AgpordA.jpgThere's not always a lot that can be done on ones with damage/distortion like that. This is about as good as I'd spend the time trying to make it. Just leveled, surface blur, redrew/touched up the lines on the actual art and let the background fly the way it is (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by svines85: Sep 27 2016, 08:59

So Re-drawing is the only way? Someone in IRC told me that Sharpen would help but I tried different ways and even if I did manage to remove the blur, I'd be messing up the rest of the pictures. Even tried to isolate the blurred section alone and it was becoming disproportionate when sharpened.

Yeah, you gotta be careful with that for just the reason you've seen. Yeah, that's how I'd attack the rest of 'em (I only paged a handful past where you linked, but didn't see anything that was too much worse). If you just fix the lines, fill in or clean out the specific spots where that blurring is occurring in the actual artwork.......yeah, you'll probably come out as well as can be hoped for. I think it's just human nature, but if you can get the most obvious stuff not looking as obvious........well, yeah, it still may not be perfect, but the casual observer most likely will never notice if it's not as glaring any more. Good luck with it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Segoe UI Symbol is a pretty standard font for hearts (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by chung2795: Sep 27 2016, 15:06
