Is there any way to know which translators are specialists of a particular language? Excuse my naivety, just curious.

I still got a long way to learn , i'm still new here.

Judging by the discussion in [url]/index.php?showtopic=87390]this thread [/url], people are finding it hard to find translators to work on stuff they like and translators get flooded by completely uninteresting requests. Wouldn't it be beneficial to both translators and requesters to include information about the stuff each translator likes and dislikes in the roll call? Requester maximize their chances to get their requests granted while translators minimize the amount of uninteresting requests they have to deal with.

Thats a good one, but it's also helpful if they include somewhere if they take requests, or are just free to anyone for a certain time period. It's always nice to just go up and ask, but you also don't wanna feel like you're pestering them either. ;D

- will most likely not do: yaoi, furry;
- may do: the rest (preferentially with lolis), if I like it.

Let's cut to the chase: Which translators WILL do Scat, Rape, Guro, basically any the hardcore stuff? That's the only question I need any translator to answer. Those are the special translators I really want to get to know :3

"loli only" vs "non loli only" vs "don't care" is a pretty significant one as well. a third of the listed translators appear to be loli specialists.

edit: or i guess as vlad puts it - chest size (since that usually associates with age.)

Not necessarily; while I'm certainly up for some loli as well, I'm more into the junior high to high school age span but without the ridiculously oversized tits many artists like to equip their characters with.

On the other hand, the way some retards are tagging any character with breasts smaller than the Hindenburg as loli, we might as well equate the two.

Any translators that are fine with doing non-h stuff? Like one shots and so on.

fair statement. i wasn't planning on joining in on this but i honestly felt some of the topics are just more "influential" than others

seem to be in that list. the amount of people that can't stomach the first 2 are common. whereas someone who say, can't handle schoolgirls or mikos is scarcer.

edit: that is not to say there aren't people that *do not like* schoolgirls/mikos, but the amount of people that feel nausea from seeing schoolgirls/mikos vs the amount that feel nausea from scat/guro is probably much smaller

as for chest size. i find that to be a pretty significant category that separates readers. the small chested lovers. and the big chested lovers.

as for the generalization i did, i think in most cases it'll be accurate. there'll probably be exceptions but that'll probably be too minute to significantly matter?
