QUOTE(Rob Itagaki @ Jun 3 2011, 16:16) I am disappoint. God help them if those fuckers cover Don't Stop Me Now.
I'll be the one supplying the pitchforks if that event were to ever happen. This post has been edited by noahbody: Jun 4 2011, 03:12

QUOTE(radixius @ Jun 4 2011, 01:28) I know. And I frown every time.
That's not a frown. It's clearly a standard sardine.

And I shall gather torches and pitch to which to cover them and set then aflame.

QUOTE(Rob Itagaki @ Jun 3 2011, 11:13) Like what Puff Daddy/Diddy did to LZ's Kashmir? Yeah, I agree. Even more insulting is when retards like it better that the original song.
Man, that doesn't count. It's fucking Diddy. When was the last thing Diddy ever did that was good? When Biggie was alive. Just because a song was original doesn't mean it's automatically superior. People can remake a song and elevate it making it better than originals. You can't knock a rapper for making a remake. What if they are doing it and reshaping it into a song the younger people can listen to? Just sayin'.

So, music from people from a different generation automatically becomes inaudible to the younger generation? What the fuck?

People can remake a song and make it superior, but I don't remember the last rap remake I've heard of a song that even came remotely close. I'll admit, I raged pretty hard at Gwen Stefani's "Rich Girl" a couple of years back, because apparently nobody recognizes the source material.

Here we go... People don't seem to appreciate or understand other peoples music. So they have to bash it. If you honestly think rappers never did anything good, you have been not been listening anything they did. It's better to listen first then criticize. You can't tell me any music is better. It's all about that preference. Like that J-Rock you listen to. Lupe Fiasco is fucking awesome.

agree dude, I don't like rap music unless it's gone through a remix but I won't bitch to people how crap it is or call it shit, I just won't listen to it. It is all about preference, I will listen to what I like, regardless of whether people think it's crap because I know there are bound to be others who feel the same
