A couple of weeks ago, I finally took a stab at translating a doujin on my own, and have already edited all of dialogue using AnimeAce font. However, while that font is good for typical dialogue, it's bad choice for certain other kinds of dialogue, IMO. For example, moaning, screaming, and other kinds like that.
So what are some of recommended fonts that I can use? I'm looking for ones that I can use for screaming, moaning/low voices, or any othher kind of text ballosns.
Much appreciated - once I get some good suggestions, I'll finish off the remainder of the balloons using those fonts.

For sex related moans try Hobo Std Agressive/angry screaming, VTKS Animal 2 Low voice/whispering/little non-bubble text above head, Segoe Print/script Plus I'll sometimes put anime ace in italic for those 1000 "Ah's"

MouthBreather is good. I use that one for moans and bold it for screams.

Segoe Print is actually a good choice - I was looking for a font that had lower-case version included as it can be used for variation in intensity of moaning. But unfortunately it's a commerical licensed version. At times I sometimes wish Microsoft was more generous with commerical fonts like Apple are (MacOS comes pre-installed with 2-3 times as many commerical fonts as Windows does ) I like the choice of MouthBreather for agressive/angry screaming, though.

Anime Ace and Mouth Breather are the new Comic Sans, haha... I like Wild Words (commercial font, but just googling it should give you a hit on the first page) and for screams and such, I'd rather use the Warp Text tool in Photoshop than use Mouth Breather. It's just overdone, kinda. At least for me.
blambot.com has a nice assortment, and I really like Mighty Zero, both all caps and with lower case.

The Mighty "Zeo" is nice looking, it doesn't look like it's as bulky as anime ace which will be nice

You trying to take a stab at me with that? Seriously, that font is awesome - until it's overused, yeah...

I hate using paint, it doesn't smooth out the edges of the font, You can just as easily get a keygen and crack photoshop over the head to make it your bitch.
But thats not important right now, pretty much any program that uses MS's fonts will use downloaded font if it was installed.
Is there any font similar to anime ace or mighty zeo? I want something similar that can used as a regular font, or at least a decent SFX font.

Well, for regular font, Wild Words was already suggested. Similar to Anime Ace, but WAY better looking and not as stale, at least in my book. What kind of SFX font are you looking for though? Anything special, or just moans and screams? There's a wide variety there. QUOTE(3d0xp0xy @ Sep 22 2010, 23:08) Haha, I see what you did there. Also tells me you visit my blog. Guess I should do more abhorrent stuff just for you then, heh? Haha.

Hmm... just something for general SFX and something for that final climax/shudder.
