I was so shocked someone already had my usual account name when making my account. Then after making it and going to sign in I went “wait a minute what if I’m the one who took it” and sure enough I managed to log into the “guy who took my name”. Well… I guess I made an account like 2 years ago and just forgot? Anyways, yeah, this account I’m posting from is the new one, and I’d like to either have it deleted or have someone tell me how to delete it. I looked around myself but couldn’t find anything.

just stop using it. If you don't use it, there is no problem. You can't use 2 accounts at the same time, but as long as you never use this one again you'll be fine. Pro tip: change the password into some random letters (I recommend landing your forehead on the keyboard to generate it) and forget the password.
