To celebrate the 1st anniversary of the tagging cleanup contest, we have decided to open a new Snowflake Prize for this month. Details on the prize can be seen below, but the tl;dr is: spend some extra effort to ID more mistags, and you will have the chance of winning more Hath as well as an exclusive T8 trophy for the Hentaiverse!
For this special event, please read the rules carefully if you don't wish to be disqualified, even if you have been a frequent participant.Honestly, I was expecting this event to die out in obscurity on the second or third one, but here we are.
Welcome to this tagging cleanup contest held by
KAngel (Host) and
Nekokissa (Financial Support)!
(Artwork kindly identified by Waitugreat)This competition has 3 prizes:
- The KAngel Prize, involving a tagging cleanup task;
- The Nekokissa Prize, accessible only to people whose banner got displayed this month (based on contest start time - August, in this case); and
- The Snowflake Prize, an annually-held special contest with a unique Tier 8 Trophy for the Hentaiverse minigame. Similar to the KAngel Prize contest, participants are required to identify gallery mistags -- but on an expanded level.
General Rules:QUOTE
- Edited entries are NOT allowed.
- We will only accept your first unedited submission. Any subsequent entries will not be considered.
- If you wish to modify your entry, you must first edit your original post into *delete*, and then re-submit your updated entry as a new post.
- Submitting the same gallery link that someone else posted is NOT allowed.
- For this reason, please only submit just enough galleries to qualify for the lotteries.
- Submitting different minor variations of the same content within the same post is NOT allowed (e.g., uncensored vs. censored, digital vs. paper scan, colored vs. B&W).
- You must clearly indicate which mistag(s) corresponds to which gallery.
- Only 1 prize may be won. Participants may win again in subsequent cleanup contests. The Snowflake Prize will take place first, then the Nekokissa Prize, followed by the KAngel Prize, and finally the Participation Prize.
- Winners will have their tagging history checked, and if their recent tags are consistently bad, they will not be eligible and a new winner will be picked.
Snowflake Prize: Five winners of 3000 Hath + an exclusive T8 trophy
Accumulate at least
five cleanup points to enter this lottery, which can be gained with the following action(s):
Generally, a mistag is the result of the scene failing the
presence requirement (e.g., appearing on only 0-2 pages). The cleanup point you would obtain from each mistag depends on its total MP (
Moderation Power) at the time you downvoted it:
- Solid Border Tag: 2 Points
- Dashed Border Tag: 1 Point
- Dotted Border Tag: 0.5 Point
(Click here if you don't know what exactly is a solid/dashed/botted border tag)Furthermore, the E-Hentai gallery link you provide must also meet ALL of the following requirements:- The gallery must be between 20-30 illustrated pages long. Non-illustrated pages are not included in the count.
- It must belong in the Doujinshi category.
- The work must be in the Japanese language only.
- You must vote down the bad tag on that gallery yourself (I have access to all gallery tag logs).
- If you are unable to downvote the tag due to insufficient mod power (i.e., MP = 1, soft-enforced tag), please send me a private message with the gallery that you identified.
- Your downvote must be made after 2024-08-30.
Each valid entry will be assigned a unique number. We will then draw 6 random numbers using the Internets bot from our
IRC channel (Command: .d 1d
??). Prizes will be given to the 6 participants that have been chosen by the RNG.
==============================
KAngel Prize: Six winners of 2000 Hath
The rules are identical to the Snowflake Prize, except now you only need to accumulate
two cleanup points.
- Participating in the Snowflake Prize contest automatically qualifies you for the KAngel Prize lottery. In other words, even if you lose the Snowflake Prize lottery, you still have another shot at winning something.
==============================
Nekokissa Prize: One winner of 3000 Hath
This is a monthly contest, with a reward for one of the best
banners picked out by Shank this month (based on contest start time, August in this case). Shank will pick 3 banners, and a random one will be picked from those.
- Aside from submitting a banner, you must also participate in the Snowflake/KAngel Prize competition (i.e., the tagging cleanup task).
- We will assign two unique numbers (ranging from 1-6) to each picked banner. The winner will be decided by rolling a standard 6-sided die.
- If the winner did not participate in the KAngel competition before the contest ended, a random pick from the remaining 2 banners will take place. If the second pick did not participate as well, the prize will then be awarded to the remaining one.
- If all 3 banner submitters did not participate, the winner will be picked at random from all users who submitted a valid entry in both the tagging cleanup and the banner contest of the month.
- In this scenario, the winner will be decided using a similar method as the KAngel Prize competition.
- In the unlikely event that no one who submitted a banner participated in this contest, the Hath will be added to next month's Nekokissa Prize pool.
If you want a chance at the Banner Prize in the future, make sure to create and submit a banner this month.

==============================
Participation Prize: 50 Hath (or 150 Hath if you are eligible for the Snowflake Prize lottery)
A small token of appreciation will be sent to everyone who submitted a valid entry for any of the three prizes, but did not win any of the lotteries.
- Only the first 50 valid submissions (that did not win the Snowflake, KAngel, or Nekokissa Prize) will be eligible for the Participation Prize.
Our contest runs from the 25th(-ish) of each month until the 25th of the next. This particular one will end at
00:01 UTC±0 September 30th 2024. Prizes will be given out on the weekend after the end of the contest.

PM me if you need clarifications on the rulings here. Do not post them in this thread as I am unlikely to check it often.
