Do not make down requests on tags with the justification that a temp tag exists to be namespaced. Wait until it's namespaced.
a. It makes it harder to tag the correct one across the galleries if the tag is no longer in place, esp. in cases where the title doesn't match the requested namespace.
b. An approver/namepsacer may disagree with your justification, or there may otherwise be a reason to not change it, for technical reasons etc.
You may request downvotes only when there is a more specific and correct tag
that is namespaced.
In this thread you can request help to either downvote or upvote tags:- Downvotes for any tags that fail basic presence requirements or their respective definition.
- Upvotes for any tags that have been wrongly downvoted, dotted border tags (these are not searchable), non-solid language tags, or tags added to old galleries that are unlikely to be upvoted by others.
If you request upvotes for a tag, it is important to clearly state on what images the tag in question can be found on.Don't forget to pinpoint in what
namespace the tag you want actions taken on can be found in.
If a request is
objectively incorrect use the report button for the post so a moderator can take appropriate action either editing or removing the post. Please make sure to give a valid reason for why the request is incorrect.
To keep the cleanup-work-flow as easy as possible, avoid lengthy discussion in this thread. If you want to discuss something, make a post
here instead (so if your post suddenly goes missing, check said thread, as it has likely been moved).
Furthermore, while not required, it's very helpful if you as the request submitter keep an eye on your post, and once an entry has been cleared use the
stroke function to help fellow vig members quickly sort out what entries are still in need of vote assistance.
For anyone partaking in voting in the thread: make sure you understand the rules, and don't blindly follow post instructions in the thread. Use extra caution when the member making the request is new to the site, or just new to vigilante work in general.
Requests related to "rewrite", "rough grammar", and "rough translation" should be submitted to the
Translations Evaluation thread.
Thanks for helping out!
