Due to the many posts that are either disruptive, pointless, or posted in the wrong place, these are some guidelines for the Vigilante and Tag Suggestions sections. Announcement worth updates can be found in post #2 of this thread.
- Vig Etiquette -Keep discussion in discussion threads, and requests in assistance threads. These will be marked further down. Remember that this is a working environment, discussion in an assistance thread pushes valid request back, and requests in discussion threads may get missed or disrupt the current ongoing discussion.
Don't post new topics for individual requests. There are places to request new artist tags, suggest new fetish tags, and request downvotes and upvotes for all cleanup sections. These will be listed further below.

- Suggesting New Tags -There are two categories of tags, with different ways to suggest them:
- Creator/Parody Tags
Artists, Circles, Cosplayers, Parodies, Characters, and Languages all may be requested freely, though note we do not tag writers, only those involved with the actual art may be tagged. To do so, find at least 1 valid gallery where the tag passes presence. This can be skipped if the misc tag already exists in the system. You also need to find the source for that name. When you have both of these, post them in Tag Grouping & Namespacing. Make sure to read the first post for rules and formatting guidelines.
⠀ - Fetish/Content Tags
These are handled much more carefully, and so need their own discussion thread. First make sure it's not already been made in Tag Suggestions, and that is isn't already made on the Fetish Listing. If one exists already in Tag Suggestions, you may provide examples or add to the discussion there, otherwise you may make a new thread. Make sure to read How To Suggest New Tags. A tag may have been made recently, you can check the 10 most recent tags or tag changes here.

- Notable Vigilante Threads -What you want to post is likely suited for one of these, so you should only make a new thread if it isn't. Make sure to read the first post of each thread.
Assistance threads:
- Tagging & Mistagging Assistance
This is where you request downvotes or upvotes for tags. Please do not make any discussions here - such posts will be moved to the relevant thread or deleted at a moderator's discretion.
⠀ - Tag Swaps
You may request swapping a tag master for parodies or creators. Do not use this for requesting fetish tag renaming, which should be done in the relevant Tag Suggestion thread.
⠀ - Tag Grouping and Namespacing
You can request creator/parody tags here. Do not make new threads for this purpose. Make sure to read the first post for proper formatting guidelines. Do not make requests for new fetish tags here, as these should be made in Tag Suggestions.
⠀ - Renaming & Reclassing
You can request assistance for renaming or reclassing galleries here. Some discussion is fine if it is on topic and/or related to a request, but anything else will be moved or deleted at a moderator's discretion.
⠀ - Expunging, Appealing, and Reverting Assistance
This is where you can request galleries to be expunged, appealed, or reverted. While some discussion here is allowed, arguments that drag on or discussion that's not relevant to a request may be moved or deleted at a moderator's discretion.
⠀ - Comment Cleanup
You can request comment downvotes on spam or highly malicious comments, as well as comments requesting the addition of wrong tags, wrong expunges, or wrong renames, or linking to extreme content considered obscene by law, etc.
⠀ - ID this character/parody thread
This is where you may request the identification of characters or parodies, usually for making requests in Tag Grouping and Namespacing, or for renaming. Although this is an assistance thread, some on topic discussion is also acceptable.
⠀ - Gallery Locking
This is where you link galleries containing illegal illicit content to be promptly locked and hidden by gallery moderators, before being removed by the administration. Discussion made here will be moved or deleted at a moderator's discretion, and requests will also be deleted once completed.

- General Tag Discussion
If you have any questions on a tag, tagging mechanics, or preliminary discussion on making new tags or changing existing tags, this is the place for it. You can also point out incorrect tags made in Tagging & Mistagging Assistance here. Don't post requests, as there are other threads for that, and such posts will be moved to the correct location.
⠀ - Not sure which to keep, which to expunge
Primarily for comparing two galleries, and other expunge related questions.
⠀ - Translations Evaluation
Primarily for discussing the applicability of the three meta-language tags: rewrite, rough grammar, and rough translation.
⠀ - Netorare discussion thread
This is where all discussion on NTR should go. Tag vote requests should go to Tagging & Mistagging Assistance as normal.
