Details:
The book price includes the 10% consumption tax.
The shipping fee depends on the site from which you order books, usually 200~700 yen. No international shipping fee.
The fee per page depends on your requirement of scanning resolution and editing service.

10 yen/page for 350dpi scan (moderate quality, quick and economical, but a part of details may be lost or deformed in some cases)
15 yen/page for 450dpi scan (decent quality, most recommended)
25 yen/page for 600dpi scan (excellent quality, recommended to people who find 450dpi still unsatisfactory, and may take a bit longer to scan)
(Optional) Plus 10 yen/page for editing the raw scan. [i.e. Brightness/contrast adjustment, color correction, descreen, denoise, etc. NOT including redrawing for double-page spreads.]

The page count will be calculated referring to one of the available sites listed above.
An extra 4.1% + 40 yen will be charged to make up for PayPal’s international transaction handling fee.

I usually receive payment through PayPal.
You can pay with any currency PayPal supports, but the price is calculated in Japanese yen (JPY), so the amount of your payment will depend on the currency exchange rate.
My commission fee may be subject to change in the future without notice in advance.

DISCOUNT POLICY

You can have a discount of 5 yen/page if your commission meets all of (1)-(4):

(1) You commission 450dpi scan + edit or 600dpi scan + edit.
(2) The commissioned book is a Japanese doujinshi (同人誌) or an artbook. (i.e. magazines and tankoubons(単行本) don't qualify.)
(3) You agree that the commissioned scan should be uploaded to EH (by either you or me).
(4) Based on the Expunge Guidelines, the commissioned gallery would be a valid reason for expunging a low-quality scan that has been existing on EH for over one month at the time of your commission.

Please inform me and bring the link to the low-quality gallery to be expunged if you want to have this discount.
The discount may be canceled if any kind of misuse is found.

1. If you want to save money, consider buying secondhand books (i.e. from Suruga-ya or Mandarake) instead of brand-new ones.
2. Be aware of Moire patterns, which appear depending on the ratio of the print resolution (lpi) to the scan resolution (dpi). Moire patterns usually appear in color pages, so monochrome manga basically doesn't have such problems.
   I may slightly change the scan resolution in order to avoid Moire patterns, like 600dpi→550dpi. (The output resolution for editing won't change.)

1. Q: Can you deal with auctions like Yahoo Auctions?
   A: Yes, I can, but you must send me a deposit for the bid. Besides, unless you bid the buyout price at first, there is always a possibility of losing the auction. You may spend the deposit on another commission in that case. However, if you want a refund, PayPal will charge another handling fee so you can't get all your money back.
2. Q: I don't use Discord. Can I contact you in other ways?
   A: Yes. You can also contact me on QQ or LINE or by email, but I may not reply as quickly as on Discord. If you want to use one of them, please send me a forum PM and ask for my user ID/email address.
3. Q: I don't use PayPal. Are there other methods of payment?
   A: Yes, I use Alipay and WeChatPay as well. There will be no transaction handling fee if you use them, but their account registration requires a Chinese ID card. What's more, you will have to pay with Chinese Yuan (CNY) and I will decide the exchange rate, which may differ a little bit from the realtime rate.
4. Q: Do you always upload your scans to EH? Can I upload it myself or keep the commission private?
   A: No, I don't. Actually, I upload the commissioned scans only if my client allows me to do so. And of course, you can keep it private or whatever. It's all up to you.
5. Q: Can I have both the edited pictures and the raw scan if I choose the editing option?
   A: Yes, certainly, but make sure to let me know that you need the raws, otherwise I won't send them.
