The event has now ended! Everyone who handed in at least one full set of all seven fruits were awarded a Precursor Smoothie Blender (Tier 8 trophy). Additionally, and even if you didn't hand in a full set, you were also granted one Rainbow Smoothie (Tier 7 trophy) for every unique fruit you handed in.

One of Snowflake's greatest regrets about the fall of the precursor civilization was the sudden lack of yummy fruit smoothies. Recently, reports have surfaced of sealed storage containers with perfectly preserved fruit and berries being unearthed, and she needs you to go out and find them for her before they are all gone.

They will drop randomly in battle, and drop rates increase with higher difficulties.

The event ends on Monday, April 17th at 23:59:59 UTC. You should hand in your findings by then to qualify for the event's grand prize.

Tried this year, and failed for once :/
I missed two artifacts (IW and GF, though i'm 8/10 archeo).
I've played for hours the last 2 days (PFUDOR, IWTBH, Nintendo, Hell...)
Btw, the whole system became sluggish since 3 or 4 days (i tried every browser and with/without script)

Edit : I said failed because i won't have any computer time until 17th

Does the number of opponents have any effect, or is it a flat per-round chance of a fruit drop?

It's a normal drop.

Data point: I got 1 each of Lemon and Kiwi in a run of DwD on Hard, which was just coincidentally my first run of DwD, and I only knew the event was on when I saw them in my Shrine check.

I also got fruits from my 2 runs on Hard DwD

yep. instructions at the start of this thread on in the one that i linked. basically, shrine 7 different artifacts and you'll be rewarded some unique trophies.

Any thoughts on IW regarding how the tier of the item impacts the likelyhood of a drop? It occurs to me that IW runs against higher tier items might help, as I've been successful with Difficult runs in Arena and Pfudor in Gridfest (only like a 100 levels before I need to flee), but my IW runs on Pfudor (mostly against Exquisite, and one Magnificent run) have all gotten me nothing but a couple regular Artifacts.

Might be time to buy a strawberry and orange...

I'm currently doing PFUDOR Item World runs on Average quality gear and get a fruit about once every 60-90 minutes. In previous events I found the special artifacts at about the same rate while doing runs on higher quality gear. However, I don't spend enough time on HV to need an Energy Drink, so there may be others with a larger sample size.

Considering you get the fruits at the end of a round instead of monster drops, difficulty should be the biggest factor that makes it drop more or less often.

For the drop rate, taking out the bonus 15% drop bonus from monster PL, the chance might only be affected by the base drop rate, along with scavenger and archeologist trainings(maybe LoTD as well?), but it could be a completely different thing, with a fixed chance of getting a fruit at the end of each round for every difficulty, regardless of trainings.

Item Worlds might be more troublesome, as the item quality also affects difficulty, so maybe it also gets an additional mutiplier for the equipment quality, or maybe the total number of rounds is the main thing along with difficulty?

If your IW runs aren't showing much results, it might be better to just focus on the arenas and GFs and then exchange the fruits you got from the IW ones, or just sell yours then buy the ones you need.

Huh. I kept upping the tier of my equipment for IW, to no avail. Bad luck for me, I guess. Sometimes, you just roll snake eyes. I spent many hours in IW, and all I got for it was a Hollow Forged Rapier... So, um, wait, I guess I win, even when I can't get any damn Fruit? Thank you Snowflake!

My time this weekend is limited, so yes, I purchased my remaining fruits. And shrined 'em all. Let Snowflake sort them out.

yep, they are quite tricky to find, i guess.

I got one in the first 10 rounds of my Magni... and nothing else subsequently. It's like basically getting one fruit a day for me.

Took till my fifth Peerless PFUDOR run before I got my first IW fruit.
