QUOTE(Byza @ Jul 28 2022, 05:44) Im asking if in these cases does any contextual info -the character- matter at all. [...] "does contextual information give you an edge to solve dichotomies between tags"
Contextual information can help resolve issues like the one you raised. However, this may not apply for the particular galleries you highlighted because they are cosplay galleries; the cosplayer may not have an exact copy of the outfit the character wears, and may have simply jury-rigged something that looks like it (such as using heels and similar-colored stockings to simulate thigh-high boots). It's safer to use contextual information for tagging doujinshi or artwork that feature in-costume characters from established parodies. This post has been edited by meow_pao: Jul 28 2022, 00:25

Should this gallery qualify as m:masked face, since it doesn't cover the mouth, but still is a mask in the traditional and BDSM sense? http://ehentaihip.com/g/2124564/0fe6feac37/

I'd say it counts, otherwise I have no idea what other tag it should get instead. I thought maybe (bondage) hood, but that turned out to be for something else entirely. The wiki says it has to completely cover the participant's face, but makes an exception for balaclava-styled masks. A Google search of balaclava nets images of masks that don't cover the eyes and some that don't cover the mouth either. In your gallery there's a separate hole for the nose too. Maybe it should be elaborated on the wiki. Or a synonym could be made to bondage hood

As far as I know "bondage hoods/masks" are intended use even though they often have eyeholes and/or mouthholes, cutting those out would absolutely warrant a new tag to be made for them. (which wouldn't be a bad thing per se, full face masks and bondage masks/hoods are two very different things that happen to overlap on the same tag, but just like with Mouth Mask it would take a lot of work to split them apart).
I feel like it's a general sentiment that if the wiki says "fully covered" it means covering the area but allowing for cutouts, which come up quite often to expose nipples, cleavage, genitals, eyes, mouth, etc. to find a compromise between having fetishized clothing and allowing access/visibility to all the fetishized or practical parts. Of course excluding tags like Pasties, Transparent Clothing, Vaginal Sticker, Blindfold, etc. which specifically have to cover those specific tiny areas and wouldn't make any sense with cutouts, though they can rely on a larger clothing piece worn over it having cutouts or transparency to be visible in the first place.

Holes on mouth, eyes or nose are allowed as long as the mask doesn't belong other categories like eyemask or gasmask.

In this case should masks like this in muzzled characters also be masked face. I thought they counted as eyemasks because the mouth war very exposed. Taking advantage of the moment, a mask like this one also counts? I believe the tag wasn't created with furries in mind, so it might need a revision. Wouldn't it be easier to just make the distinction on the basis of whether the hair is shown? I had a very, very brief look through an eye mask search result but this was generally true.
Eye mask = Hair is shown/exposed. Masked face = Hair is hidden.
Your examples are complicating it somewhat because furry, but isn't the yellow and red fur basically the hair on top of their head?

http://ehentaihip.com/s/f24af74cc4/2176245-58 this is still intended to be covered by Masked Face, even though, as I mentioned earlier, it is visually a different fetish but overlapping fetish compared to the full head masks, so splitting it off like we did with Mouth Mask back in 2020 is an option that might be discussed in the future. I would rule 2230854 for eyemask and 2234763 for masked face. Key is how the mask/helmet covers the head, eyemask should only cover the face instead of the whole head.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this. What do you think about implementing a female:feminization tag?
Currently, there is only a male:feminization tag. This leaves female bimbofication, stepfordization, and princessification as well as tomboy feminization without a distinct tag space. The closest would be female:transformation which is too broad and includes all the TF into animals or objects content.
The description could be something like: "Description: A female has her lifestyle or body modified into acting or being treated as more feminine."

Tag suggestions can be made on this forum: /index.php?showforum=89Here's how to suggest new tags: /index.php?showtopic=174444As for your suggestion, it sounds rather subjective to me (i.e. how do you qualify "more feminine"?), but perhaps you may be able to provide a more objective description.

You should only tag the artists that pass presence, meaning that they contributed a significant amount of covers.
I'd tag it non-h imageset and possibly themeless.

QUOTE(Glovelove. @ Aug 9 2022, 12:16) Please DOWN f:Eyemask, f:Leotard, f:Thigh High Boots http://ehentaihip.com/g/814148/ad17780f4a/ (Body paint not clothing) I'd like second opinions on this. I fully understand how you can argue that clothing tags don't apply if no clothing is being worn. But I'd argue that body painted "clothing" has the same (or at least very similar) appeal as the actual thing, therefore I refrained from downvoting.

If ropes and a gag were body-painted on a model, it wouldn't have the same appeal as the actual thing. Nor would anyone really consider that to be bondage. To look at it another way, if a cosplayer were to use a combination of high heels and stockings to simulate thigh-high boots, they wouldn't be considered thigh-high boots at all.

For clothing tags, just a tattoo, skin colouration or paint (or even just Full Censorship in case of "Pasties") generally shouldn't count unless you want to get really messy situations around Bodysuit. I don't really think shitty Instagram filters adding super fake animal ears or glasses are desirable search results for people looking for Cosplay galleries with Kemonomimi or Glasses either.
I'm not saying everything contextually needs to be clothing to be counted as such for visual tagging, Kemono Friends for example canonically does not acknowledge the characters are just wearing animal cosplay even though it looks as such, but when it comes to tagging clothing I'd still stick to a minimum of stuff that looks like another layer worn on top of the skin instead of tagging the skin itself.
Some exceptions I'm not sure if anyone really cares about that for Eyemasks, but I included it in the request because it seemed odd to leave it out if I'm calling out the other clothing that's been painted on (ironically, if we did allow paint to count as clothes I could insist that it should be Stockings instead and there's be no real argument in favor or against it as the part that sets boots and stockings apart has already been bypassed at that point). And Latex, which I usually just leave alone because I know a lot of people with a latex fetish would like latex skin just as much as a latex bodysuit and a lot of Drone content really muddles that line anyway.

So I know that there is a list of tags (sorted by category) here, but that only seems to list tags that had slave tags at some point. Is there some place to see all namespaced tags? I'm aware that if I want to test a specific tag I could just try and tag it, but I want the list.

I was 95% sure that I saw (and had in my possession) at some point an allegedly complete list of tags so I did some more digging and actually found this, which closely resembles my memory: QUOTE(Tribulen @ Sep 26 2016, 23:54) A clickable listing of tags, organized by the order the namespaces are listed on the galleries. Still doesn't specify whether it's slaved or blocked, but ought to be basically every tag that exists on a gallery. Published View: [ docs.google.com] https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zG1...fUEwfQ/pubhtml#Standard View: [ docs.google.com] https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zG1...B4enfUEwfQ/editI should have mentioned this in the first post, but I didn't source any of this. This is simply me doing stuff with a database I was provided. What a hero. I suppose that list is heavily outdated now. In my memory there was a way to access a similar list on EH itself, but I might be confusing that with https://repo.e-hentai.org/tools.php?act=taggroup

Yeah, it's the maintenance that makes it difficult to have a full list

HV Quest & Activities BoardQUOTE(PrincessKaguya @ Jan 5 2023, 13:24) As the nipples rub themselves against each other, the grandmother and the kid ascended into a higher plane of excitement! No mortal shall question this questionable relationship between these family members!
Or less ecstatically, qualifies for "incest".
