In lieu of a full blown STOP BEING FUCKING RETARDED post, I'm just going to leave this here.

Add a highlighted note that you get EXP bonus in HV by POSTING SOMETHING MEANINGFUL ONCE PER DAY FOR 20 DAYS, NOT GODDAMN SPAMMING 20 POST IN A NIGHT. That is just annoying and stupid.

Perhaps you should only get the 5% bonus (or whatever it is) for your first ten posts and then start losing it for every subsequent post.

Agree with the idea, I mean many people post meaningless thread because of the EXP bonus.
If the effect can last for days, I believe the "SPAM" situation be eventually starts to improve.

The majority of things on these days seem to exist merely to allow one to inflate thy post count for 'status' entertainment. This being said I have also seen what can happen in the reverse with the boards being dead for weeks and nothing relatively new happening.

My honest opinion at this juncture would see nothing short of a forum-agedon-pocalypse to change the current culture.

Well, the first one makes sense, since a long period without posts signifies that there's not much of an interest in the topic anymore. Of course, there are still people who will practice Thread Necromancy, even if it's been banned by the Mages Guild.

The second one also makes sense, as contributing to the discussion is important in a community based site. Afterall, the context of a given thread is usually defined along certain parameters, unless English gives you wiggle room.

But I'm pretty sure that unless things were changed, your post number has an effect on your Karma Imbue Power. A small effect, but an effect nevertheless. Of course, I'm not sure how many users are actually aware of that.
